11. Last But Not Least

This is a photo of five people standing from smallest to largest. As the title suggests, the emphasis would be put on the tallest or largest guy, J.R. I tried to go for a small depth of field with little success and I also tried to work with the natural lighting with little success. The slightly off lighting was due to the fact that the weather was split that day. It was sunny and cloudy at the same time but mostly cloudy, causing weird light that I couldn't work with. This photo should have been amusing and entertaining.
I think this photo was not successful and my idea is becoming too complicated.
9. A Knuckle Sandwich!!!

These photos are part of the series and as the title suggests, it depicts a girl "eating" another girl's "knuckle sandwich". This photo was meant to be entertaining and humorous. I used soft strobe lighting against a black background and I intentionally used these girls to represent girls that were tough and had backbone because that's what they appear to be. In real life, however they're actually pretty sweet girls.
I think this photo was successful and is one of my favorites. At this point, my idea for my series is beginning to be a challenge for me and I'm having a difficult time shooting quotes and trying to make them look like what the words actually mean.

JR TUNGKSTEN

This photo is also not part of the series but another assignment where we worked on mixing natural lighting with artificial light; basically it was a mixed lighting assignment. I used the natural cloudy lighting with the warmness from the tungksten lighting accenting his face and body. I then edited the photo in photoshop. I hoped the photo would seem serene and a little calm as if he was basking in the early morning light while the world was still asleep.
I think this photo was successful.
